Boat additional costs:
Included are the costs for boat rental, mooring and inventory as described, hull insurance with a deductible of up to 1000 euros depending on the boat type and insurance, and the necessary safety equipment and fittings according to Norwegian law.
Exclusive and not included in the rental price: passenger insurance and accident protection, personal liability insurance, excess coverage, consumables, fuel and lubricants.

Rental deposit in cash:
The rental deposit is 350 euros, which must be paid directly upon collection of the boat and will be immediately refunded to the renter upon return of the rental property in perfect condition.

Boat insurance - hull:
The boat is covered by hull insurance. The excess in the event of damage is up to €1,000, depending on the boat. The amount of the excess can vary; please inquire with the boat owner upon pick-up and document it on the checklist. Personal belongings are not insured. The insurance does not cover accidental damage suffered by persons traveling on the rental property. The renter is liable for damage to and loss of the boat unless the damage is covered by the insurance. Damage also includes consequential damage. The landlord/owner can retain the deposit paid until the damage is repaired. The excess per claim is to be borne by the renter and may differ from the deposit. If the boat is returned in good condition, the deposit will be refunded immediately. Any damage not covered by the deposit or insurance must be compensated for by the renter immediately before departure. The renter undertakes to immediately notify the landlord/owner of any damage, collisions, other unusual incidents, or complaints.

Boat license:
Guests born before January 1, 1980, do not require a license for motorboats of this class in Norway. For younger people, a boat license is required for boats with more than 25 hp.

Binding rules of conduct - tenant's liability:
We expect the boat captain to strictly abstain from alcohol on board.
The renter is liable for damages caused by themselves and also for all damages caused by other users of the boat. The renter and all other users use the boat at their own risk. The renter informs their crew in a timely manner that they will, if necessary, take out appropriate insurance against damage before departure. Furthermore, the boat operator must familiarize the crew with the boat's technology and the terms and conditions of the contract and ensure that all passengers wear life jackets during trips. If fish cleaning is done on the boat or on a suitable filleting table on the jetty, please dispose of fish waste at sea and not in the harbor basin. Always cover fish waste (seagulls).

Territory restriction:
Trips are only permitted in the adjacent and suitable waters of the home port and near the coast.
A minimum distance of 150 meters must be maintained from fish farms or similar facilities. Failure to comply with maritime regulations may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement by the landlord/owner. Any claims by the tenant are deemed forfeited.

Handover - Return:
The rental period of the boat is generally tied to the rental period of the booked holiday home.
Equipment and inventory will be handed over/taken over according to the checklist.
Location: At the berth there is handover with instructions and return.
Handover: after 16:00 h or after consultation with the owner
Return: by 10:00 a.m. on the last day of rental or by arrangement with the owner.
Eventual delays must be reported to the owner immediately by telephone.

Cleaning the boat:
The renter is responsible for thoroughly cleaning the boat at the end of the rental period. The renter must return the boat in the clean condition it was handed over to them by the rental company.
