The boat can be ordered as an extra boat for vacation home Kafjord 5 and, depending on availability, also for our other properties on the Kafjord. For other houses in the region, this boat is only available on request by telephone and only if the extra boats assigned to the other houses are no longer available or are already fully booked.

4 - 5 anglers can fish on the new Pilothouse cabin boat. The boat is stable and safe on the water, the powerful 4-stroke engine brings the boat to approx. 30-35 knots, depending on the load and thus offers optimal conditions for successful fishing trips and excursions in the fjords and also on the sea. Thanks to its stable yet sleek hull shape, you can reach the best fishing spots in the region safely and quite comfortably.
Are you a keen amateur fisherman? Do you go to sea when others stay ashore? Do you want to get to the best fishing spots quickly and easily? The 605 Pilothouse offers everything you need in a compact and practical boat equipped with a 150 hp engine. There is an external steering position on the aft deck. There are wide gangways around the cabin. The windshield is made of glass and always offers good visibility. The dashboard contains instruments and electronics.
In the cabin you are protected from the weather and wind. Benches and tables can be mounted on deck, making it possible to use the boat for more than just fishing. There is room for two people to sleep in the cabin. If several people are fishing at the same time, it is important to have plenty of space on deck. Use the chart plotter with echo sounder to find the right fishing spot and determine how deep the fish are. The bait stays fresh in a separate container on board and the catch can be stored in an integrated fish well. There is plenty of storage space under the benches and floor. There's nothing to stop you from enjoying an effective fishing trip.
How to get there:
After leaving the ferry/customs, follow the signs to Stavanger/Flekkefjord (E 39).
There are automatic toll booths along the route. Please log on to autopass.no and register your vehicle there. If you wish to drive through the Autopass lanes without registering, you will later receive an invoice for the fees incurred. Leave the E39 at the Vigeland traffic circle (lighthouse in the middle of the traffic circle) and then continue from Vigeland (E39 lighthouse traffic circle) on a well-maintained country road no. 407 south towards Tjön. From the road, turn left into Kafjordveien and continue to Roneheia. There, turn left into Roneheia. Please call our manager on the above telephone number before you arrive in Norway.
Additional boat costs:
Included are the costs for boat rental, mooring and inventory as described, hull insurance according to Norwegian law with up to 1000 Euro excess depending on boat type and insurance, the necessary safety equipment and equipment according to Norwegian law.
Excluded and not included in the rental price: Insurance for passengers and accident cover, personal liability insurance, excess cover, consumables, fuel and lubricants.
Rental deposit in cash:
The rental deposit is 350 euros, which must be paid directly on site when the boat is taken over and will be refunded to the renter immediately if the rental property is returned free of defects.
Boat insurance - hull insurance:
The boat is generally covered by hull insurance in accordance with Norwegian law. The excess in the event of damage is up to 1000 euros, depending on the boat. The amount of the excess may vary and must be requested from the respective boat owner when taking over the boat and documented on the checklist. Personal belongings are not insured. The insurance is not liable for accidental damage suffered by persons traveling on the rental property. The renter is liable for damage to and loss of the boat if the damage is not covered by the insurance. Damage also includes consequential damage. The lessor/owner may retain the deposit paid until the damage has been repaired. The excess per case of damage is to be borne by the renter and may differ from the deposit. If the boat is returned free of defects, the deposit will be refunded immediately. Any damage not covered by the deposit or insurance must be replaced by the hirer immediately before departure. The hirer undertakes to notify the lessor/owner immediately of any damage, collisions, other unusual incidents or complaints.
Boating license:
For guests born before 01.01.1980, no license for motorboats of this class is required in Norway. For younger persons, a boating license for boats with more than 25 hp is mandatory.
Binding rules of conduct - liability of the hirer:
We recommend a strict no-alcohol policy on board.
The hirer is liable for any damage caused by themselves and also for any damage caused by other users of the boat. The use of the boat is at the renter's and all other users own risk. The hirer shall inform his crew in good time that they may need to take out appropriate insurance against loss events themselves before the start of the trip. In addition, the skipper must familiarize the crew with the boat technology and the terms of the contract and ensure that all passengers wear life jackets on the trips.
If fish cleaning is to be carried out on the boat or on an appropriate filleting table on the jetty, please dispose of the fish waste at sea and not in the harbour basin. Always cover fish waste (seagulls).
Restriction of area:
Voyages are only permitted in the adjacent and suitable waters of the home port and near the coast.
A minimum distance of 100 meters must be maintained from fish farms or similar facilities. Failure to comply with the navigation rules may result in immediate termination of the tenancy by the lessor/owner. Claims of the tenant are therefore deemed forfeited.
Cleaning the boat:
The hirer must carry out the thorough final cleaning of the boat themselves. The Hirer shall return the boat in the same clean condition as it was handed over to him by the Rental Firm.
