With the large Smartliner 21 Fisher, a current model, 654 cm long, 225 cm wide, 100 HP outboard motor, inside and outside steering positions, chart plotter and depth sounder, and rod holders, the owner has added the perfect fishing and excursion boat to the house. The boat is well-suited for 4-5 anglers. The rental boats are registered for tourist fishing with a fish export quota.

The seaworthy Smartliner is a very reliable and spacious cabin boat. It is easy to handle and ideal for demanding fishing trips in the archipelago and offshore. The boat features an enclosed cabin that provides a good overview while cruising and offers the driver and passenger good protection from wind and waves. It also has a large, open deck aft and a seat in the bow. The hull is robust and stable in the sea, even at low speeds and when fishing. This makes the boat safe and therefore also suitable for longer trips.
Standard equipment: inside and outside steering position, seats, bathing ladder, navigation lights, fish tank, self-draining deck, 4 built-in rod holders, anchor locker, etc.
Technical specifications: 654 cm long, 225 cm wide, empty weight 800 kg, approved for up to 7 people, Category C. Life jackets/aids are available for many sizes. The boat is moored at its own mooring at the jetty in Svennevik and can be rented as an extra boat from here to Spagereid - Ramsland. With its large deck and high freeboard, the Fisker is arguably one of the most popular fishing boats in southern Norway. In rough seas, the spacious cabin provides the driver with good protection from wind and waves. The boat can be driven without a license if the driver was born before January 1, 1980. Otherwise, a license is required.
Boat additional costs:
Included are the costs for boat rental, mooring and inventory as described, hull insurance according to Norwegian law with a deductible of up to 1000 euros depending on the boat type and insurance, and the necessary safety equipment and fittings according to Norwegian law.
Exclusive and not included in the rental price: passenger insurance and accident protection, personal liability insurance, excess coverage, consumables, fuel and lubricants.
Rental deposit in cash:
The rental deposit is 3500 NOK (350 Euro), which must be paid directly upon collection of the boat and will be refunded to the renter upon return of the rental property in good condition.
Boat insurance - hull:
Boats are generally covered by hull insurance under Norwegian law. The excess in the event of damage is up to 1,000 euros, depending on the boat. The amount of the excess can vary; please inquire with the boat owner upon pick-up and document it on the checklist. Personal belongings are not insured. The insurance does not cover accidental damage suffered by persons traveling on the rental vessel. The renter is liable for damage to and loss of the boat unless the damage is covered by the insurance. Damage also includes consequential damage. The landlord/owner may retain the deposit paid until the damage is repaired. The excess per claim is to be borne by the renter and may differ from the deposit. If the boat is returned in good condition, the deposit will be refunded immediately. Any damage not covered by the deposit or insurance must be compensated for by the renter immediately before departure. The renter undertakes to immediately notify the landlord/owner of any damage, collisions, other unusual incidents, or complaints.
Boat license:
Guests born before January 1, 1980, do not require a license for motorboats of this class in Norway. For younger people, a boat license is required for boats with more than 25 hp.
Binding rules of conduct - tenant's liability:
For your own safety, we recommend that you refrain from drinking alcohol on board.
The renter is liable for any damage caused by themselves and also for any damage caused by other users of the boat. The use of the boat is at the renter's own risk and that of all other users. The renter shall inform the crew in a timely manner that they will, if necessary, obtain adequate insurance against damages before the start of the trip. Furthermore, the boat operator must familiarize the crew with the boat's technical features and the terms and conditions of the contract and ensure that all passengers wear life jackets during trips.
Fish cleaning should be done on the boat or on a suitable filleting table on the jetty. Please dispose of fish waste at sea, not in the harbor basin. Always cover fish waste (to protect against seagulls).
Territory restriction:
Trips are only permitted in the adjacent and suitable waters of the home port and near the coast.
A minimum distance of 100 meters must be maintained from fish farms or similar facilities. Failure to comply with maritime regulations may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement by the landlord/owner. Any claims by the tenant are deemed forfeited.
Handover - Return:
The rental period of the boat is generally tied to the rental period of the booked property.
Equipment and inventory will be handed over/taken over according to the checklist.
Location: Handover with driving instructions and return is at the berth.
Handover: after 17:00 h or after consultation with the owner
Return: by 10:00 a.m. on the last day of rental or by arrangement with the owner.
Eventual delays must be reported to the owner immediately by telephone.
Cleaning the boat:
The renter is responsible for thoroughly cleaning the boat at the end of the trip. We recommend cleaning the boat after each fishing trip. The renter must return the boat in the clean and fueled condition it was handed over to them by the rental company.
