There is enough space for 4 anglers to fish on the 18 ft. boat. A 30 HP 4-stroke engine gives the boat plenty of power and therefore offers good conditions for successful fishing trips and excursions into the fish-rich waters. Life jackets/aids are available for all sizes.
Please note: The boat is not included in the price from November 1st to March 31st (winter storage). However, it is possible to order it for an additional charge of 50 euros per day.

Welcome to Lindesnes, the southernmost part of Norway, where the sunny coasts, fascinating landscapes and the region's rich diversity attract visitors from all over Europe every year. The Lindesnes coastline is a paradise for anglers of all levels. All year round it offers an abundance of fish species such as flounder, plaice, turbot, saithe, ling, cod and pollack. From the fish-rich skerries to open sea fishing, anglers can try their luck from both boat and land. Flatfish fishing in the sandy bays is particularly popular and offers ideal conditions for a rich fishing experience.
Lillehavn is the last port on the east side before the Lindesnes Fyr lighthouse (3 km) and a good starting point for boaters and anglers. There are about 10 permanent residents in the town, but it is a popular holiday destination for many. The small, former fishing village is only 80 km from Kristiansand and only 4 km north of the Lindesnes lighthouse, the southernmost point in Norway. The well-known fishing hotspots of the South Cape and the open sea with its rich fishing grounds are just offshore. Spangereid with the well-known sandy beach Njervesanden is only 7 km away. In Baly near Spangereid you will find restaurants and small shops as well as the world-famous Michelin-starred underwater restaurant Under. So how about a delicious culinary experience and a relaxing stay with us?
The Lillehavn Holmen holiday apartment with its own entrance and balcony is located together with other holiday homes on the edge of the settlement, close to the sea with a marina. The apartment has two bedrooms with four beds and is equipped with everything you need in the house. Bed linen and towels can also be rented if you do not want to bring them with you. The main house with three other holiday apartments is built in the typical Norwegian country house style and the communal areas around are nicely designed. Just 50 m away there is a playground for children with a trampoline in spring, summer and autumn. The included boat has its own berth in the harbor - with a fish cleaning area. Here you will also find the opportunity to swim in salt water. Otherwise, the freshwater lake Vågevannet is only 700 meters from the accommodation. If you want to swim in the sea from the beach, you can go by boat or car to Krågevika, which is only 9 kilometers from Lillehavn.
In the immediate vicinity of the property there are beautiful hiking areas, both by the sea and in the mountains. There you will find marked hiking trails and hiking trails from the local administration (TellTur.no). Lindesnes lighthouse is always worth a visit with its underground passages, summer evening activities and not least the lighthouse bread made from sea water and seaweed. There is also the possibility to charge electric cars at the lighthouse. All in all, Lillehavn is a nice place with very good fishing opportunities on the sea hotspots, and even from the quay.

Important: In order to offset the drastically rising energy costs, we have to charge an additional 5 euros per day.
Charging hybrid or electric cars using household electricity is not permitted and is only allowed at approved charging stations. These costs will be added when making the booking.
Included: The costs for boat rental, final cleaning, accommodation, electricity for normal household management and water are included in the price.
Exclusive and not included in the rental price: Insurance for passengers and accident protection, personal liability insurance, insurance of the excess, consumables. Firewood is not included in the rental for properties with wood stoves and can be purchased if required at local prices

There are free changeover days for this property.
Arrival: from 4:00 p.m. - Departure: until 10:00 a.m.
Deposit:
The rental deposit is 350 euros, which must be paid on site immediately upon moving in and will be refunded to the tenant upon moving out if the rental property is returned in good condition.

Dogs are allowed on request (15 euros extra charge per day and per animal, must be stated when booking). However, animals are not allowed in the bedrooms. All houses and apartments are non-smoking. No party groups please.
Additional rules
Please observe the quiet times in the apartment and in the outdoor area from 11 p.m. The remaining waste must be placed in the waste container as described in the information brochures for the apartment. If something is used (e.g. towels / bed linen / cloths / tea towels), please put it in the washing machine before leaving.
Children are very welcome, a baby travel cot can be organized if required (please register).
Please make sure that you have the right size bed covers and fitted sheets if you would like to bring your own. You should also bring your own towels if you have not ordered them in advance. For hygiene reasons, we ask that you do not use sleeping bags!
The fish must be cleaned on the boat or at the filleting station in the harbor. There is a freezer in the property where you can freeze your catch. Gutting and scaling fish in or around the holiday home is not permitted. Fish waste must be disposed of at sea and not in the harbor basin.
Fishing in the area of Lindesnes Spangereid, Mandal, Tarvatnet, Lonestrand, Furuholmen, Snig
Sea anglers can fish in the fjord and the open sea, or pursue flatfish from the shore. We recommend a boat trip to the best fishing areas in the region, to the islands and to the plateaus at Lindesnes - Spangereid. With the safe boat you will need Depending on the performance, it is a 10-20 minute drive to the open sea. In the fjord mouths you can catch all types of sea fish (20 species of fish, good sizes) depending on the season, weather and tide. We also recommend fishing trips on the fjord or out to sea to the best fishing areas in the region off Mandal, Furuholmen, the offshore islands and the plateaus. By boat and in good weather, you can reach the well-known fishing grounds of southern Norway off Furuholmen and Lindesnes. .
If you have a small boat, it is better to fish behind the skerries and not go out to sea straight away. With a larger boat, it takes about 15 minutes to get to the open sea from the pier. In the fjords, you can catch sea fish depending on the season, weather and tide. .
On the burrows in the open sea, you will find good coalfish, cod, pollock, mackerel, ling and tusk, and occasionally a halibut. The river mouth at Furuholmen is known for good sea trout and salmon catches. River sections and their zones may only be fished with a permit. Please pay attention to the closed seasons and fishing limits in the river mouth.
In summer, schools of mackerel invade deep into the fjords. On the banks and from the jetties, they catch sea fish and plenty of flatfish on the sandy bottom, sometimes also salmon and sea trout, depending on the season. The evening hours are particularly recommended here.

Freshwater fishing / in the surrounding lakes and streams:
If you like fishing for salmon, trout and char, then this is the place for you. The huge Tarvatnet lake has drinking water quality and is home to native salmonid species. Please note - you need a fishing license for the large Tarvatnet. Please ask in advance!
Please pay attention to the closed seasons and fishing limits in the river mouths. The Audna in particular is home to fantastic salmon in the pools, for the different zones you will need a day ticket / permit during the season.
The salmon river Audna (50 km long) flows through the Audnedalen from Ytre Øydnevann to the Snigsfjord by the sea. The river course is very varied and calm stretches alternate with rapids and waterfalls. The width varies between 10 and 20 m and the fishing depends heavily on the water level. The first few days after heavy rainfall produce the best results.
In the Audna you are only allowed to fish with a state license for salmon and sea trout. You can get this online or by post. You also need a permit from the landowner. You can get this from the tourist office in Mandal or Lindesnes Tel: 0047 38258068. In many You can get the cards from shops along the river. The prices are low for the really good salmon fishing. Other salmon rivers in the area are the Mandalselva and the Lyngna.
The Audna has seven fishing zones: Interesting Zone 1-3
Zone 1: From the mouth of the sea to Ystholen. The river flows calmly and offers dry fly opportunities for sea trout in the evening hours.
Zone 2: Ystholen up to 150 m below Melhusfoss. Some nice sections for fly fishing. Particularly recommended at medium or low water when no fish are crossing the Melhusfoss.
Zone 3: Melhusfoss. By far the best place. Only a few day tickets are issued and two landowners can fish.
The licenses must be ordered from Audna Fiskerettforening by May 1st and are not particularly cheap.
There are many beautiful fishing spots in the area - for trout, char and sea trout. On the website Suednorwegen.org you can find everything about southern Norway. Activities:
In Spangereid, 12 minutes away, there is also a fishing shop, a supermarket and a petrol station with land shops and fishing equipment. In the harbor there is also a small shopping area with maritime shops. You can also shop in Vigeland, where there is also an ATM and a first-class Bakery. Norwegian attractions such as the old, re-opened Spangereid Canal, Cape Lindesnes with its lighthouse or various art galleries such as Krake Vika with theatre performances and other events are worth seeing. A trip to Lyngdal Water Park (45 min.), the newest bathing facility in the north -Europe, should be planned for in case of bad weather. Hikers and cyclists get their money's worth thanks to the very diverse nature, as the small, white coastal towns of this region are strung together like a pearl, not too far away.
With a wide selection and special opening hours, you can also buy many specialties at reasonable prices at the Furuholmen Kiosk on Saturdays and Sundays during the season.
Cape Lindesnes should be included in your trip. Here you can also visit the lighthouse or walk around the old bunkers from World War II (bring a flashlight). The hotel in Båly with its spa and wellness department also pampers you with excellent cuisine Spangereid also has the world's only new underwater restaurant (opening at the end of 2018/19).
If you want nightlife, you should go to Mandal. The drive takes about 35 minutes.
There is a lot going on here, including a number of restaurants and a few pubs where you can just have a drink or dance. Mandal offers many cultural attractions and the city has a lot to offer for the shopping fan. . The drive to Kristiansand Zoo takes about 1 hour. This is a must for families with children. Recommended arrival - ferries:
From Hirtshals (DK) to Kristiansand or Stavanger (N). We are happy to help you choose the cheapest ferries (Colorline or Fjordline) and can book them for you if you wish.
Directions:
After leaving the ferry/customs, follow the signs to Stavanger/Flekkefjord (E 39).
There are automatic toll booths along the route. You can register your vehicle for the toll at autopass.no. If you want to drive through the Autopass lanes without registering, you will automatically receive an invoice for the fees later. At the E39 / Vigeland roundabout, continue on the E 39 and after about 1 km turn right at the Vigeland sign into the town. At the bottom of the town, turn right behind the petrol station onto the FV 460 road and then continue towards Lindesnes Fyr. Then follow the Lillehavn sign.

Included are the costs for boat rental, berth and inventory as described, hull insurance according to Norwegian law with up to 1000 Euro deductible depending on boat type and insurance, the necessary safety features and equipment according to Norwegian law.

Boat insurance - hull:
The boat is generally covered by hull insurance under Norwegian law. The excess in the event of damage is up to 1000 euros, depending on the boat. The amount of the excess can vary; this should be requested from the boat owner when taking over the boat and documented on the checklist. Personal items are not insured. The insurance is not liable for accidental damage suffered by people travelling on the rental property. The renter is liable for damage and loss to the boat if the damage is not covered by the insurance. Damage also includes consequential damage. The landlord/owner can retain the deposit paid until the damage is repaired. The excess per claim is to be borne by the renter and may differ from the deposit. If the boat is returned without defects, the deposit will be refunded immediately. Any damage not covered by the deposit or insurance must be compensated by the renter immediately before departure. The renter undertakes to report any damage, collisions, other unusual occurrences or complaints to the landlord/owner immediately.
boat license:
Guests born before January 1, 1980 do not need a license for motorboats of this class in Norway. For younger people, a boat license for boats with more than 25 HP is mandatory.
Binding rules of conduct - tenant's liability:
We expect the boat captain to strictly abstain from alcohol on board.
The renter is liable for damages caused by himself and also for all damages to the house and boat caused, for example, by fellow passengers. The renter and all other users use the boat at their own risk. The renter informs his crew in good time that they will take out adequate insurance against damage events before the start of the trip. In addition, the boat operator must familiarize the crew with the boat technology and the contract conditions and ensure that all passengers wear life jackets on trips.
Please dispose of fish waste at sea, not in the harbor basin. Always cover fish waste (seagulls).
Territory restriction:
Trips are only permitted in the adjacent and suitable waters of the home port and near the coast.
A minimum distance of 100 meters must be maintained from fish farms or similar facilities. Failure to comply with maritime regulations may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement by the landlord/owner. Any claims by the tenant are then deemed to be forfeited.
Handover - Return:
The rental period of the boat is generally tied to the rental period of the booked property.
Equipment and inventory will be handed over/taken over according to the checklist.
Location: Handover with driving instructions and return is at the berth.
Handover: after 18:00 h or after consultation with the owner
Return: by 10:30 am on the last rental day or by arrangement with the owner.
Eventual delays must be reported to the owner immediately by telephone.
Cleaning the boat:
The renter must carry out the thorough final cleaning of the boat himself. The renter returns the boat in the clean condition it was handed over to him by the landlord.
