Holiday home Lone at Tarvatnet in Lonestrand near Lindesnes-Furuholmen , southern Norway, in a very beautiful location on a very well-kept farm near the fish-rich freshwater reserve (Tarvatnet, 150 meters), for sea and trout anglers, boat mooring at the fjord (just under 1 minute by car), 5 adults, 1 shower room, 3 bedrooms, approx. 107 m² living space etc., final cleaning included, non-smoking, registered for tourist fishing with fish export quota, vacation with dog.

Boat: Included in the price is a new Sting 535 Pro boat with helm station (2018 model), equipped with a Lowrance 7 TI Total Scan depth sounder and chart plotter, a 50 HP Evinrude outboard motor, and rod holders on the boat.
Important: The inclusive boat is not included in the price from November 1st to March 31st (winter storage). However, a boat can be ordered during this period for an additional charge. From the beginning of April to the end of October, a good-quality Sting 535 Pro boat is included with the house.

The boat is well-suited for 4-5 anglers (the maximum load is 800 kg, max. 8 people, CE Category C). With a higher freeboard and larger deck, longer offshore fishing trips are also possible in stable weather. The boat sits very securely and stable in the waves, handles fantastically on the open sea, is self-bailing, and requires virtually no maintenance. Enjoy our new addition and use the boat for fishing in both winter and summer, or take the kids on a trip through the archipelago and fjords. The boat comes with the amazingly economical Evinrude E-Tec motor. Life jackets/buoyancy aids are available for many sizes.

Extra boats that can be ordered for the house:
If you need an extra boat, please inquire about availability or book one of the boats listed below. These boats are registered for tourist fishing with a fish export quota. See below.

General information about the property:
A vacation in Scandinavia is what childhood dreams envision at the Lone holiday home on Lake Tarvatnet. Undisturbed, in a dream location, surrounded by green meadows and forests with a magnificent view of Lake Lonetjonna. In the background, just 150 meters away, lies the vast Lake Tarvatnet, where moose and beavers frolic, and where the owner owns the fishing and hunting rights. There's not a house in sight on the large lake with its trout population, just a stone's throw from the lake. Peace and quiet are pure nature.

Holidays in Lindesnes, Southern Norway: Fishing and adventure holidays, experience the diversity of the south coast.
Welcome to Lindesnes, the southernmost part of Norway, where the sunny coasts, fascinating landscapes, and rich diversity of the region attract visitors from all over Europe every year. Lindesnes offers an excellent mix of nature, culture, and outdoor activities for families, group trips, and a successful fishing holiday. The Lindesnes coastline is a paradise for anglers of all levels. Year-round, it offers an abundance of fish species such as flounder, plaice, turbot, saithe, ling, cod, and pollock.

The Lone holiday home on Lake Tarvatnet was formerly reserved for staff. When farming ceased, the owner family converted this charming servants' cottage to suit their needs and then moved into a new house. The holiday home has been renovated and remodeled. Everything is state-of-the-art. We believe this holiday home is perfect for nature lovers, families, and people looking to escape the stresses of everyday life. The house was built well before the turn of the century, and the rooms were preserved in their original state during the renovation. Some modern features were lovingly combined with period furniture and furnishings. There are modern rooms, a modern kitchen, a renovated bathroom with shower and toilet, and an outdoor area with a view of the lake. The house is suitable for 5 adults and 1 toddler (cribs available), a maximum of 6 people. You will find 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living-dining room with Wi-Fi and Smart TV, etc.

The boat mooring on the fjord with parking is not far away (950 meters). You'll always find a quiet spot for swimming and fishing. Parking is located directly in front of the house. Access is via a paved sandy road. Enjoy successful sea fishing for cod and other species in the best fishing areas of the Southern Cape, as a top-of-the-range motorboat with mooring is included in the price.

The owner has a friendly hunting dog (in kennel) and runs the large, well-maintained property with his family. Despite its tranquility, the holiday home is conveniently located near Furuholmen, Spangereid, and the small town of Vigeland/Lindesnes. Native species of char and trout may be fished in the lake with the owner's permission. When the freshwater lake is completely frozen and the ice is firm, ice skating is a real pleasure. But be careful: check the ice is safe beforehand.

Freizeit und Angeln

Fishing in the area of Lindesnes Spangereid, Mandal, Tarvatnet, Lonestrand, Furuholmen, Snig
Sea anglers can fish in the fjord and the open sea, or pursue flatfish from the shore. We recommend a boat trip to the region's best fishing areas, off the islands and onto the plateaus near Lindesnes - Spangereid. Depending on the boat's power, it's a 10-20 minute journey to the open sea. In the fjord mouths, you can catch all kinds of sea fish (20 species of good sizes), depending on the season, weather, and tide. On the open sea, good cod, pollock, coalfish, ling, and tusk, among others, await you. Why not try float fishing for cod and plaice from the jetty while you're having a barbecue? Please observe the closed seasons and fishing limits in the river mouths. From summer until early November, shoals of mackerel invade deep into the fjord. Depending on the season, you can also catch sea fish and flatfish directly from land on the nearby beaches. Your contact person will give you on-site instructions on the fishing grounds. Furuholmen also has two experienced fishing guides available for booking.

We also recommend fishing trips on the fjord or out to sea to the region's best fishing spots off Mandal, Furuholmen, the islands off the coast, and the plateaus. By boat and in good weather, you can reach the well-known fishing grounds of Southern Norway off Furuholmen and Lindesnes.

If you're in a small boat, it's better to fish behind the skerries and avoid heading out to sea right away. With a larger boat, it's about a 15-minute drive from the pier to the open sea. Catching sea fish in the fjords depends on the season, weather, and tide.

On the burrows of the open sea, you'll find good coalfish, cod, pollock, mackerel, ling, and tusk, along with the occasional halibut. The estuary near Furuholmen is known for its good catches of sea trout and salmon. River sections and their zones may only be fished with a permit. Please observe the closed seasons and fishing limits in the estuary.

In summer, shoals of mackerel invade deep into the fjords. Along the shorelines and from the jetties, they catch saltwater fish and plenty of flatfish on the sandy bottom, sometimes also salmon and sea trout, depending on the season. The evening hours are particularly recommended.

You can also get the best fishing tips from the Norway fishing friends or in the Norway fishing forum .

Here (click ) you can find information about salmon fishing in Zone 1, Audna.

Freshwater fishing / in the surrounding lakes and streams:

If you enjoy fishing for salmon, trout, and char, this is the place for you. The vast Tarvatnet Lake, with drinking water quality, is home to native salmonid species. Please note: You will need a fishing license for the large Tarvatnet Lake. Please inquire beforehand!

Please pay attention to the closed seasons and fishing limits in the estuaries. The Audna River, in particular, is home to fantastic salmon pools; you will need a day ticket/permit for the various zones during the season.

The Audna Salmon River (50 km long) flows through the Audnedalen valley from Ytre Øydnevann to the Snigsfjord at the sea. The river's course is highly varied, with calm rivers alternating with rapids and waterfalls. The width varies between 10 and 20 meters, and fishing depends heavily on the water level. The first few days after heavy rainfall produce the best results.

Fishing in the Audna River is only permitted with a government license for salmon and sea trout. These can be obtained online or by mail. A landowner's permit is also required. This can be obtained from the Mandal Tourist Office or Lindesnes by calling +47 38258068. Licenses are also available in many shops along the river. Prices are low for the truly excellent salmon fishing. Other salmon rivers in the area include the Mandalselva River and the Lyngna River.

The Audna has seven fishing zones: Interesting Zone 1-3
Zone 1: From the estuary to Ystholen. The river flows gently and offers dry fly fishing opportunities for sea trout in the evenings.
Zone 2: Ystholen up to 150 m below Melhusfoss. Several beautiful sections for fly fishing. Particularly recommended during mid- or low-water periods, when no fish are crossing the Melhusfoss.
Zone 3: Melhusfoss. By far the best spot. Only a few day permits are issued, and two landowners can fish.
The licenses must be ordered from the Audna Fiskerettforening by May 1st and are not cheap.

There are many beautiful fishing spots in the area – for trout, char, and sea trout. On the website Suednorwegen.org, you can find everything about Southern Norway, including an overview of fishing lakes and sea trout spots. However, some freshwater lakes require a permit, which is subject to a fee.

Here you can find all the information about freshwater fishing spots in Southern Norway. (Click here) And here you will find a detailed travel report , here you will find information about fishing in Southern Norway . And here on the Southern Norway page of Hoddel Here you will find one of the largest nautical charts, text and image collections in Southern Norway.

Activities:
In Spangereid, 12 minutes away, you'll also find a fishing tackle shop, a supermarket, and a gas station with a landscaping supply and fishing tackle. The harbor there also has a small shopping area with maritime shops. Shopping is also possible in Vigeland, where there is also an ATM and a first-class bakery. Norwegian attractions such as the old, reclaimed Spangereid Canal, Cape Lindesnes with its lighthouse, and various art galleries, such as Krake Vika with theater performances and other events, are worth a visit. A trip to Lyngdal Water Park (45 minutes), Northern Europe's newest water park, is a must in case of bad weather. Information is available on the official tourism website www.nordsjovegen.no .
Hikers and cyclists will find the region's diverse natural landscape truly worth their while, as the small, white coastal towns are strung together like pearls, not too far away.
With a wide selection and special opening hours, you can also buy many specialties at reasonable prices at the Furuholmen kiosk on Saturdays and Sundays during the season.
Cape Lindesnes should be included in your excursion. Here, you can also visit the lighthouse or walk through the old WWII bunkers (bring a flashlight). The hotel in Båly, with its spa and wellness center, also pampers you with excellent cuisine. Spangereid also boasts the world's only new underwater restaurant (opening in late 2018/19).
If you're looking for nightlife, head to Mandal. The drive there takes about 35 minutes.
There's a lot going on here, including several restaurants and a few pubs where you can just have a drink or dance. Mandal offers many cultural attractions, and the city has plenty to offer shoppers. Kristiansand Zoo is about an hour's drive away. This is a must for families with children. For more information, visit
http://www.lindesnesregionen.com/

Recommended arrival - Ferries:
Travel via Hirtshals (DK) to Kristiansand or Stavanger (N). We are happy to help you select the most affordable ferry and book it for you. The holiday home is a 50-minute drive from Kristiansand via the E39. At the E39/Vigeland roundabout, take the FV 460 road and then continue towards Lindesnes Lighthouse. After passing Furuholmen, turn right onto Loneveien in Lonestrand.

Informationen zum Boot

Additional costs including boat:
Included are the costs for boat rental, mooring, and inventory as described, hull insurance according to Norwegian law with a deductible of up to 1,000 euros depending on boat type and insurance, and the necessary safety equipment and fittings according to Norwegian law.
Exclusive and not included in the rental price: passenger and accident insurance, personal liability insurance, excess coverage, consumables, fuel, and lubricants.

Boat insurance - comprehensive:
Boats are generally covered by hull insurance under Norwegian law. The deductible in the event of damage is up to 1,000 euros, depending on the boat. The amount of the deductible can vary; please inquire with the boat owner upon pick-up and document it on the checklist. Personal belongings are not insured. The insurance does not cover accidental damage suffered by persons traveling on the rental vessel. The renter is liable for damage to and loss of the boat unless the damage is covered by the insurance. Damage also includes consequential damage. The landlord/owner may retain the deposit paid until the damage is repaired. The deductible per claim is to be borne by the renter and may differ from the deposit. If the boat is returned in good condition, the deposit will be refunded immediately. Any damage not covered by the deposit or insurance must be compensated for by the renter immediately before departure. The renter undertakes to immediately report any damage, collisions, other unusual incidents, or complaints to the landlord/owner.

Boat license:
Guests born before January 1, 1980, do not require a license for motorboats of this class in Norway. For younger people, a boat license is required for boats with more than 25 hp.

Binding rules of conduct - tenant's liability:
We recommend strictly abstaining from alcohol on board.
The renter is liable for damages caused by themselves and also for all damages caused by other users of the boat. Use of the boat is at the renter's own risk and that of all other users. The renter shall inform his or her crew in a timely manner that they will, if necessary, take out adequate insurance against damage events before the start of the trip. Furthermore, the boat operator must familiarize the crew with the boat's technical features and the terms and conditions of the contract and ensure that all passengers wear life jackets during trips.
If cleaning fish is done on the boat or on a suitable filleting table at the jetty, please dispose of fish waste at sea, not in the harbor basin. Always cover fish waste (to protect against seagulls).

Territory restriction:
Trips are only permitted in the adjacent and suitable waters of the home port and near the coast.
A minimum distance of 100 meters from fish farms or similar facilities must be maintained. Failure to comply with maritime regulations may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement by the landlord/owner. Any claims by the tenant are deemed forfeited.

Handover - Return:
The rental period of the boat is generally tied to the rental period of the booked property.
Equipment and inventory will be handed over/taken over according to the checklist.
Location: Handover with driving instructions and return is at the berth.
Handover: after 18:00 h or after consultation with the owner
Return: by 10:00 a.m. on the last day of rental or by arrangement with the owner.
Eventual delays must be reported to the owner immediately by telephone.

Cleaning the boat:
The renter is responsible for thorough final cleaning and refueling of the boat. The renter returns the boat in the same condition as it was handed over by the lessor.

Luft nach oben

Hessel/Lewinsky

IhrTeam come2norway
