Included is a large Oien 620 F (21 feet) with 50 hp Yamaha, equipped with chart plotter and echo sounder, suitable for 5 anglers.
The spacious 21 ft. Oien 620 F with 50 hp engine is 6.20 meters long, 2.35 meters wide and suitable for at least 5 anglers. There is a chart plotter with echo sounder on the helm, so you can mark your favorite fishing spots or other waypoints to easily find your way back there when fishing. The relatively seaworthy, high-sided and fast Oien 620 F is a safe fishing and excursion boat, very stable in the water and easy to drive. It is suitable for demanding fishing trips and for trips off the coast. This popular boat has good safety reserves. In addition to the good 4-stroke engine and stability, there is plenty of space on the large deck. A steering position provides the driver with good protection against wind and waves. Further equipment (rod holder etc.) is available.
The boat mooring is located on the sea below Lonestrand near Furuholmen. There, only a few minutes by car from the vacation home, there is also a parking lot. You will always find an undisturbed spot for swimming or fishing in the lake in the surrounding area. Swimming aids are available for many sizes.
General information about the property:
'Holidays in the Norwegian nature', this is how you could imagine a vacation in Scandinavia. In a great secluded location and surrounded by green meadows and forests, the vacation home is located on the private lake 'Lonetjonna', which is fed by the large freshwater lake Tarvatnet and flows into the fjord further down. The waters are home to salmon and salmonids, and the owner has fishing rights for 'Lonetjonna'.
In the background, just 1000 meters behind meadows and forests, lies the huge lake 'Tarvatnet', where moose and beavers roam. There is not a house in sight on the Tarvatnet, which has a good Norwegian trout population. However, you will need a fishing license to fish.
FCottage 'Lonevatnet'is privately owned and can be used as a vacation home all year round. The Sörland house has always been kept in good condition, everything is state of the art.
We think that this vacation spot is just right for nature lovers, families and people who want to escape the stress of everyday life. The house was built in 1994 and has been constantly modernized. Modern things have been lovingly combined, e.g. with pieces of furniture from the old days. There are 2 modern bathrooms, a top modern kitchen with induction hob, large terraces / veranda with the outdoor area overlooking the lake. The house is suitable for 6 adults and 3 children (cribs available). You will find 3 bedrooms, a TV room in the loft with a pull-out sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a living-dining room with WiFi and 5 GB credit, as well as Smart TV and German channels, etc. As a highlight, there is a playhouse in the garden for younger children. PS. Please supervise your children when playing in the garden, the adjacent waters have a slight current and, like all lakes in Norway, are not !!!! secured against falling in. The parking lot for your vehicle is right next to the house. Access is via a paved sandy path. Fish successfully in the sea for cod and co., the waters near Lindesnes are very rich in fish and well known in the fishing scene.
Despite the quiet and secluded location, the vacation home is situated in a valley, and vehicles driving along Spangereidveien can be heard from time to time, depending on the wind. However, the FH is only 1 hour from Kristiansand and close to Furuholmen, Lindesnes-Spangereid and the small town of Vigeland. Native species of char and trout can be fished in the lake with the owner's permission. When the large freshwater lake is frozen over and the ice is firm enough, ice skating is great fun. But be careful, check beforehand whether the ice is really safe.

Pets are not permitted. All houses and apartments are non-smoking properties.
Children are welcome, a baby travel crib is available free of charge if required.
Please make sure that the comforter covers and fitted sheets are the right size. These, as well as towels, must be brought along or can be pre-ordered as a set. For reasons of hygiene, we would ask you not to use sleeping bags under any circumstances!
The fish should be cleaned on the boat (device on the boat) in the harbor, or at the filleting area on the jetty. The fillets should then be rinsed with fresh salt water, bagged and frozen. Gutting and scaling the fish in or near the house is not permitted. Fish waste must be disposed of at sea and not in the harbor basin.
Fishing in the Lindesnes Spangereid area, Mandal, Tarvatnet, Lonestrand, Furuholmen, Snig
Sea anglers can fish on the fjord and the open sea, or go after flatfish from the shore. We recommend a boat trip to the best fishing areas in the region, off the islands and on the plateaus at Lindesnes - Spangereid. Depending on your performance, you will need just under 10-20 minutes to reach the open sea in a safe boat. In the fjord estuaries you can catch all kinds of sea fish (20 fish species, good sizes) depending on the season, weather and tide. Good cod, pollack, coalfish, ling and tusk are waiting for you on the open sea. Why not try fishing for cod and plaice from the jetty with a float while having a barbecue. Please pay attention to the closed seasons and the fishing limits in the estuaries. In summer until the beginning of November, shoals of mackerel invade deep into the fjord. Depending on the season, you can also catch sea fish and flatfish directly from land on the nearby beaches. Your contact person will show you the fishing grounds on site. Furuholmen also has two successful fishing guides that you can book.
We also recommend fishing trips on the fjord or towards the open sea to the best fishing areas in the region off Mandal, Furuholmen, the offshore islands and the plateaus. By boat and in good weather, you can reach the famous fishing grounds of southern Norway off Furuholmen and Lindesnes.
If you have a small boat, it is better to fish behind the archipelago and not go out to sea. With a larger boat, it will take you about 15 minutes to reach the open sea from the jetty. You can catch sea fish in the fjords depending on the season, weather and tide.
On the open sea you can catch good coalfish, cod, pollack, mackerel, ling and tusk, as well as the occasional halibut. The river mouth at Furuholmen is known for good sea trout and salmon catches. Sections of the river and their zones may only be fished with a permit. Please pay attention to the closed seasons and fishing limits in the estuary.
In summer, schools of mackerel invade deep into the fjords. They catch sea fish and plenty of flatfish on sandy bottoms, sometimes also salmon and sea trout, depending on the season. The evening hours are particularly recommended.

Fishing in fresh water / in the lakes and streams in the area:
If you like fishing for salmon, trout and char, this is the place to be. The huge Tarvatnet lake with drinking water quality is home to native salmonid species. Please - you need a fishing license for the large Tarvatnet. Please ask in advance!
Please pay attention to the closed seasons and fishing limits in the estuaries. The Audna in particular is home to fantastic salmon in the pools; you will need a day ticket/permit for the various zones during the season.
The Audna salmon river (50 km long) flows through the Audnedalen valley from Ytre Øydnevann to Snigsfjord by the sea. The course of the river is very varied and calm stretches alternate with rapids and waterfalls. The width varies between 10 and 20 m and the fishing depends heavily on the water level. After heavy rainfall, the first few days produce the best results.
In the Audna you can only fish with a state license for salmon and sea trout. These can be obtained online or at the post office. A permit from the landowner is also required. This can be obtained from the tourist office in Mandal or Lindesnes Tele: 0047 38258068. Permits are also available in many stores along the river. The prices are low for really good salmon fishing. Other salmon rivers in the area are the Mandalselva and the Lyngna.The Audna has seven fishing zones: Interesting Zone 1-3
Zone 1: From the mouth into the sea to Ystholen. The river flows calmly and offers dry fly opportunities for sea trout in the evening hours.
Zone 2: Ystholen to 150 m below Melhusfoss. Some nice sections for fly fishing. Especially recommended at medium or low tide when no fish pass Melhusfoss.
Zone 3: Melhusfoss. By far the best spot.Only a few day permits are issued and two landowners can also fish.
The licenses must be ordered from Audna Fiskerettforening by 01.05. and are not cheap.

Businesses:
In Spangereid, 12 minutes away, you will also find a fishing store, a supermarket and a petrol station with a country store and fishing equipment. In the harbor there you will also find a small shopping area with maritime stores. You can also shop in Vigeland, where there is also an ATM and a first-class bakery. Norwegian attractions, such as the old, re-opened Spangereid Canal, Cape Lindesnes with its lighthouse or various art galleries, such as the Krake Vika with theater performances and other events, are worth seeing. A trip to Badeland Lyngdal (45 min.), the newest bathing facility in Northern Europe, should be planned in case of bad weather. Walkers and cyclists get their money's worth due to the very varied nature, because the small, white coastal towns of this region are not too far away, nestled together like a pearl.
With plenty of choice and special opening hours, you can also buy many specialties at reasonable prices in the Furuholmen kiosk on Saturdays and Sundays during the season.
Cape Lindesnes should be included in your excursion. Here you can also visit the beacon or take a walk in the old bunkers from the Second World War (take a flashlight). The hotel in Båly with its 'spa wellness department' will also spoil you with great cuisine. There is also the world's only new underwater restaurant in Spangereid (opening at the end of 2018/19).
If you want nightlife, you should drive to Mandal. The drive here takes around 35 minutes.
There is a lot going on here, including a number of restaurants and pubs where you can just have a drink or dance. Mandal offers many cultural sights and the city has a lot to offer shopping fans. Recommended journey - ferries:
Travel via Hirtshals(DK) to Kristiansand or Stavanger(N). We are happy to help you choose the cheapest ferries and book them for you. You can reach the vacation home in 50 minutes via the E39 coming from Kristiansand. At the E39 / Vigeland traffic circle, take the FV 460 road and continue in the direction of Lindesnes Fyr. After passing Furuholmen, turn right onto Loneveien in Lonestrand.
Additional costs included boat:
Included are the costs for boat rental, berth and inventory as described, hull insurance according to Norwegian law with up to 1000 Euro excess depending on boat type and insurance, the necessary safety equipment and equipment according to Norwegian law.
Excluded and not included in the rental price: Insurance for passengers and accident cover, personal liability insurance, excess cover, consumables, fuel and lubricants.
Boat insurance - hull:
The boat is generally covered by hull insurance in accordance with Norwegian law. The excess in the event of damage is up to 1000 euros, depending on the boat. The amount of the excess may vary and must be requested from the respective boat owner when taking over the boat and documented on the checklist. Personal belongings are not insured. The insurance is not liable for accidental damage suffered by persons traveling on the rental property. The renter is liable for damage to and loss of the boat if the damage is not covered by the insurance. Damage also includes consequential damage. The lessor/owner may retain the deposit paid until the damage has been repaired. The excess per case of damage is to be borne by the renter and may differ from the deposit. If the boat is returned free of defects, the deposit will be refunded immediately. Any damage not covered by the deposit or insurance must be replaced by the hirer immediately before departure. The hirer undertakes to notify the lessor/owner immediately of any damage, collisions, other unusual incidents or complaints.
Boating license:
For guests born before 01.01.1980, no license for motorboats of this class is required in Norway. For younger persons, a boating license for boats with more than 25 hp is mandatory.
Binding rules of conduct - liability of the hirer:
We recommend strict abstinence from alcohol on board.
The hirer is liable for damage caused by himself and also for all damage caused by other users of the boat. The use of the boat is at the hirer's and all other users own risk. The hirer shall inform his crew in good time that they may need to take out appropriate insurance against loss events themselves before the start of the trip. In addition, the skipper must familiarize the crew with the boat technology and the terms of the contract and ensure that all passengers wear life jackets on the trips.
If fish cleaning is to be carried out on the boat or on an appropriate filleting table on the jetty, please dispose of the fish waste at sea and not in the harbour basin. Always cover fish waste (seagulls).
Restriction of area:
Voyages are only permitted in the adjacent and suitable waters of the home port and near the coast.
A minimum distance of 100 meters must be maintained from fish farms or similar facilities. Failure to comply with the navigation rules may result in immediate termination of the tenancy by the lessor/owner. Claims of the tenant are therefore deemed forfeited.
Cleaning the boat:
The hirer must carry out the thorough final cleaning and refueling of the boat themselves. The hirer shall return the boat in the condition in which it was handed over to him by the lessor.
