The basic package for up to 4 people includes an aluminum boat Arronet, 18 ft. with 70 hp Yamaha outboard, max. speed 30 knots, chart plotter echo sounder with the best fishing hotspots. The boats built in 2018 are extremely robust, seaworthy and are equipped with VHF radio, 90 liter tank. For fishing, they are perfectly adapted for 3 anglers, life jackets are available for all sizes. Before the first day of fishing, there is of course a safety briefing on site. We have a total of 7 Arronet Alu boats for hire. All boats comply with national regulations and are fitted with the latest equipment.

General information about the property:
Welcome to the new Cape Marina complex, best deep-sea fishing and premium deep-sea fishing!
The name "Cape Marina" stands for a new generation of modern fishing tourism and is a completely newly built fishing camp in Skarsvåg, probably the northernmost fishing village in the world. The family-run facility was completed in summer 2018 and is now ready for the first bookings.
The two identical tipi lodges Fisherman's and Sailor's were completed in 2018 on Skutnes, directly above the Rorbu 'Barents Sea' with its jetty, freezing house and filleting room. Sophisticated, modern and typically Nordic with wind-protected and sun-drenched outdoor areas. The spacious living area has an open plan living, kitchen and dining area, there are 5 bedrooms each with 2 single beds and 2 shower rooms. The apartment is designed for a maximum of 10 people. Outside there are seating areas around the building with wooden benches and tables, an outdoor barbecue. In addition, there is the majestic sea view and view over the jetty of 'Skutnes' in Skarsvåg. The location offers a fantastic view: To the west: Skarsvåg and harbor (northernmost fishing village in the world). To the north: View of the Barents Sea with its rich fishing grounds. To the east: Risfjord - remote Arctic landscape and wildlife.
The facility's filleting room, drying room and 16 m² freezer room are located in the rorbu at the jetty, the rooms are really well equipped. In this house, all guests can fillet their fish and prepare it for freezing.
Cape Marina is a lovingly run business that aims to offer fishing and Nordic adventures of the highest quality. So it was that after more than 50 years of professional fishing in the rough Barents Sea, the head of the family, Kjell, decided to set up arguably the best fishing camp near the famous landmark on the North Cape after his retirement. In addition, the great operators have purchased 7 new and top motorized aluminum boats "Arronet" with the best technology, which are at home in the probably most fish-rich waters of Norway. Experience the midnight sun in summer, the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) in autumn through to spring, ice bathing, guided Northern Lights experience hikes and much more.
The fishing at the North Cape differs considerably from other places in Norway due to its enormous abundance of fish.
Because here you will be surrounded by rich fish banks after a maximum of 10 minutes drive, sometimes with spectacular views of the North Cape landmark and further north to the magical horizon, where only the legendary North Pole is the next stop.

Interior
Tipi-Lodge with modern furnishings, built in 2018. 2018, large living area with new furniture, flat screen TV with Smart TV function and Google Chromecast, Internet WI-FI, 5 bedrooms with two single beds per room, 2 neat bathrooms with shower and toilet, washing machine and dryer,
full kitchen with state-of-the-art equipment, including refrigerator, stove-oven with induction hob, dishwasher, microwave oven and bench, dining table, floor coverings from famous stone floor of Alta (Alta slate tiles), heating.
Outdoors:
Large outdoor area with wooden walkways around and between the lodges, charcoal barbecue, outdoor seating areas with wooden benches and table with majestic sea views and views of the jetty.
The filleting room, drying room and 16 m² freezer house are exemplary. All guests can fillet and prepare their fish for freezing in this house. The service house is only 20 meters from the bridge and the boats.
The lodges are located above the jetty of "Skutnes" in Skarsvåg with three fantastic views:
To the west: Skarsvåg and harbor (northernmost fishing village in the world)
To the north: View of the Barents Sea with its rich fishing grounds.

Between and around our cabins you can walk on a wooden deck with famous Alta tiles. Benches and seating are available throughout our grounds. You will always find shelter in the Cape Marina when the wind blows.

The costs for accommodation, Internet WIFI, final cleaning, bed linen and towel set, electricity and water are included in the price. The basic package for up to 4 people includes 1 Arronet aluminum boat with 70 hp, excluding fuel, in the final price.

These services are included in this property. For reasons of hygiene, we would ask you not to use sleeping bags under any circumstances!

Deposit:
The rental deposit is 500 euros, this is to be paid directly on site when moving in and will be refunded to the tenant when the rental property is returned free of defects when moving out.
House-specific information:
Pets are not permitted. All houses and apartments are non-smoking properties. Children are welcome, a baby travel crib is available free of charge if required. Fish cleaning is to be done on the boat or in the slaughterhouse on the jetty. Gutting and scaling fish in the living areas is not permitted. Please dispose of fish waste at sea and not in the harbor basin.
Travel options from Germany via Oslo to the North Cape:
Dear guests, it is of course also possible to travel by car from Germany. If you would like to travel to Northern Norway by car, we will be happy to help you choose the cheapest ferries (Colorline or Fjordline) and book them reliably on request.
Of course, we are happy to help you choose the cheapest flights and connections. .
What we recommend:
If you prefer not to travel with your own vehicle, we recommend the flight connection with SAS or Norwegian from Germany. The destination airport is always Oslo. There are several direct daily flights from Germany to Oslo, or e.g. via Stockholm to Oslo and on to Alta, Lakselv or Honningsvåg. If you would like to book a flight, please contact a travel agency or book directly on the website of SAS, Wideroe or Norwegian. To be as independent as possible, we recommend that you pre-book a suitable rental car in Norway. From Alta it is only a 3-hour drive to your vacation destination. It is also possible to hire vehicles at the airport in Alta. You can find more information about this on the airlines websites. There are also rental vehicles at the airport in Lakselv.

Additional boat costs:
Included: The package for up to 4 people includes the costs for boat rental (1 boat), mooring and inventory as described, also included is hull insurance according to Norwegian law with excess depending on boat type and insurance, as well as the necessary safety equipment and equipment according to Norwegian law.
Excluded and not included in the rental price: Insurance for occupants and accident cover, personal liability insurance, excess cover, consumables, fuel and lubricants. You can purchase fuel on site at local prices, which will be refilled by the operator.
Boating license:
For guests born before 01.01.1980, no license is required for motorboats of this class in Norway. For younger persons, a boating license for boats with more than 25 hp is mandatory.
Boat damage, boat insurance - hull insurance:
The boat is insured in accordance with the usual national hull insurance conditions. The deductible payable in the event of damage caused by the renter is NOK 15,000 and is payable to the boat owner in the event of a classic claim without exception. The hirer is obliged to pay a cash fee of NOK 5000 in the event of propeller damage. All guests and captains must sign a contract with the owner on site, after instruction, before going out to sea for the first time. This regulates claims for damages, some internal rules of conduct and a strict ban on alcohol on board.
